Detectives with the Tampa Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting.
After 1:15 p.m. Sunday, TPD says officers responded to a reported fight near River Willow Place.
When officers arrived, they said they found a person with a gunshot wound, who was pronounced dead on scene. Now, detectives are trying to identify the person shot and figure out what led to the shooting.
TPD added that the alleged shooter is cooperating with investigators.
Police say this is an active investigation. No more details were immediately available.
