TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Students in Leon County took part in a mentorship session aimed at helping them handle conflict in healthier ways.

The Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Council on the Status of Men and Boys continued the Letters 2 Legacy Mentorship Program with a meeting focused on conflict resolution and respectful communication. During the session, students discussed ways to navigate disagreements, express themselves effectively and respond to conflict with respect.

Organizers said the program uses mentorship and meaningful conversations to give students tools they can apply at school, at home and in their communities.
