CHECK: Flight Stoppage In Northeast Causes Delays In South Florida | NewsRadio WIOD

Miami International and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airports are feeling the effects of FAA issued ground stops at several Northeast airports due to equipment outages.

Ground stops at John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia and Boston’s airport have been lifted.

The FAA said fiber optic cables in New Jersey were cut by a construction crew at an off-airport site which caused the outage.
