CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK) — A memorial plaque honoring EMT Jessica Sanchez was unveiled at Cape Coral Fire Station 12, where she worked and aspired to become a firefighter before her sudden death in 2025.
The Cape Coral Fire Department said Sanchez’s ambulance was housed at Station 12, where she worked alongside firefighters with positivity and professionalism.
Firefighters who worked with Sanchez at Station 12 organized the memorial plaque to honor her life and keep her memory alive at the station.
The ceremony was attended by her family, her Station 12 colleagues, Lee County EMS personnel and CCFD command staff.
