Fort Pierce road reopens after serious e-bike crash at South U.S. 1 and Georgia Ave.

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A stretch of road in Fort Pierce has reopened after a serious crash involving an e-bike on Tuesday.

The Fort Pierce Police Department said the crash happened at the intersection of South U.S. 1 and Georgia Avenue.

The crash closed southbound U.S. 1 at Florida Avenue. Traffic was temporarily diverted south on Fifth Street to Hayes Road, then east to U.S. 1.
