Advocates are gathering outside Doral City Hall calling on the commission to rescind its 287 agreement, allowing state and local law enforcement to perform certain immigration enforcement functions under ICE. Adelys Ferro says the city did not have to enter into the partnership in 2025. Businesses are reporting a 70-percent drop in sales because of enforcement. Doral’s mayor says local governments have no authority to prevent ICE from doing sweeps.
