Stolen Broward deputy’s car found on I-95 in St. Lucie County, woman arrested

A Fort Lauderdale woman is in the St. Lucie County Jail after a stolen Broward Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle was found abandoned on an Interstate 95 off-ramp Tuesday night, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said deputies, Port St. Lucie police officers and Florida Highway Patrol troopers went to I-95 at about 9:40 p.m. Sept. 22. They had received information that a stolen Broward Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle was heading north near Gatlin Boulevard. The response was coordinated with the Broward Sheriff’s Office. (SLCSO)
