Australian house DJ Anthony Pappa comes to St. Pete on Friday

Anthony Pappa’s been working in clubs since he was 13 years old and won the Australian DMC championship at the ripe old age of 15, but that was probably no surprise to anyone (his dad wanted him to be a pro drummer).

Often playing on three decks, Pappa can scratch, play house and has even been on the cover of Billboard magazine. Known to still do live drumming in his sets, Pappa is only DJing for this show, but arrives with newish progressive house tracks (“We Emerge,” “Waterfall”) to share.
