Catalina Lauf endorses Lisa Cohen-Adkinson for Cape Coral mayor
CAPE CORAL, Fla. —
Former candidate for Florida’s Congressional District 19, Catalina Lauf has announced her endorsement of Lisa Cohen-Adkinson for Cape Coral Mayor.
In a video posted to Cohen-Adkinson’s campaign Facebook page, Lauf endorses Cohen-Adkinson, saying, “The amazing residents and people of Cape Coral deserve good leadership.”
Lauf, who finished second in votes in August’s Primary Election for Florida’s District 19 Congressional seat, said that the “swamp needs to be drained in Cape Coral” and that Cohen-Adkinson is the right candidate to achieve that.
Cohen-Adkinson responded to Lauf’s endorsement, saying, “Thank you to Catalina Lauf for the kind words and your support. Cape Coral residents are ready for change; we are ready for real transparency, and we won’t settle for anything less.”
Cohen-Adkinson is set to face off against Rick Erickson to become the next Cape Coral mayor in November’s General Election.
