A suspected shooter who caused a Florida courthouse to be on lockdown for several hours was captured and has been denied bond.
Kenneth Jerome Logan Jr., 26, was arrested the afternoon of Sept. 23. Earlier that day he allegedly fired a gun at a woman he knew and chased her through a parking garage adjacent to the Orange County Courthouse.
“A shooting inside the parking garage at the Orange County Courthouse halted court operations for several hours while our deputies investigated the attempted murder of a woman in the garage, who thankfully was not injured in the shooting,” according to a statement from the sheriff’s office. “Deputies spent the afternoon searching for the known suspect, and we are pleased to tell you he was captured.”
