The New England Patriots officially have a quarterback problem.
Drake Maye now has a league-high seven turnovers through three games after tossing two interceptions and losing a fumble in Sunday’s 35-6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He would’ve had three INTs, but it was dropped by the Jags defender.
Meanwhile, Maye’s counterpart Trevor Lawrence threw three touchdowns and had one interception. The Jaguars QB has seven touchdown passes to Maye’s one this season.
Patriots backup QB Tommy DeVito took over for Maye with the game out of reach in the fourth quarter. After yet another dismal performance, there is sure to be plenty of discourse about the Patriots’ quarterback situation leading into next Sunday’s game in Buffalo.
