Lincoln High’s Deputy Ryan Dehner named Leon County Schools employee of the year

TALLAHASEE, Fla. — School Resource Deputy Ryan Dehner of Lincoln High School has been recognized as Leon County Schools’ 2026 School Related Employee of the Year.

Dehner received the award Friday, Sept. 25, 2026. He is only the second school resource deputy to earn the honor.

The recognition highlights Dehner’s commitment and dedication to serving students, faculty, staff and the community. The Leon County Sheriff’s Office also praised its school resource deputies for their continued work protecting schools and representing the agency “with professionalism, compassion, and respect.”
