Pirates will be invading historic Virginia Key Beach Park as part of a fun-filled event in which participants are sure to be soaked and wet.

The Stink and Dutty Miami Carnival 2026 will take place from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 12, at the historic landmark at 4020 Virginia Beach Dr.

Stink and Dutty is a high-energy carnival experience celebrated in multiple cities, including Miami and New York.

The event, organized by Hybrid Events Marketing, combines Caribbean music, soca and live performances with interactive elements like water, paint, powder and foam, creating a festive and immersive atmosphere.

It is designed for participants to dance, socialize, and enjoy a colorful, playful environment reminiscent of traditional Caribbean Street carnivals.

Event organizers call the annual event a “mess‑fest” since it’s known for its full‑spectrum bacchanal of water cannons, paint and powder, combined with a lineup of live artists and interactive experiences.

Participants can unleash their inner pirate and enjoy a fun, messy, music‑filled day on the beach.

Admission cost is $116.
