Miami Broward Carnival will expand its 2026 celebration across Broward County, with two weekends of Caribbean cultural events featuring youth masquerade, steelpan, J’ouvert, live music, food and cultural vendors.

The Miami Broward One Carnival Host Committee announced the expanded schedule in a press release this month, describing the lineup as an effort to broaden the carnival experience while maintaining its Caribbean traditions.

“2026 represents an opportunity for Miami Broward Carnival to evolve while remaining firmly rooted in our traditions. With deepened community partnerships and new experiences across Broward County, we are excited to welcome residents and visitors to celebrate the full spectrum of Caribbean culture,” said Joan Hinkson-Justin, chairwoman of the Host Committee.

The following day, Saturday, Oct. 10, the celebration will move to Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill for the Official J’ouvert. Hosted by Visit Lauderdale and powered by the City of Lauderhill, the event will feature more than 20 paint and powder bands.
