Your Notes for Tonight and Tomorrow

TRAFFIC NOTES | If you’re driving in Riverview this week, there is a traffic issue to know about. Crews will close the medians on part of Big Bend Road. That means drivers will have to make u-turns at Simmons Loop and U.S. 301 to access the driveways and side streets on Big Bend. This is so FDOT can re-stripe the lanes there. Also, beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, FDOT will close access to County Road 39 from southbound US 19. The road is expected to reopen before 3 p.m. Thursday, weather permitting. During this closure, motorists will have to detour around the work zone using Curlew Road and Belcher Road to access CR 39.
