JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man in his 20s riding a mini bike in Northwest Jacksonville was fatally hit Thursday afternoon.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, around 3:45 p.m., the man was riding along Moncrief Road when a driver in a red SUV attempted to turn left onto 45th Street.
The SUV driver did not see the man and hit him, according to JSO.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
JSO said the case is still under investigation to determine who was at fault.
This marks the 125th traffic fatality and the 17th involving a motorcycle.
