ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Vibes, flavors, and sunsets — if that’s calling your name, there may be a $10,000 job for you at Visit St. Pete-Clearwater.
On Thursday, the tourism agency announced it’s looking for enthusiastic sun and sand lovers for its new SPC-Suite.
Visit St. Pete-Clearwater says its three new “executives” will embark on 10-day “destination-immersion assignments” to explore the people and places that make the area unique.

The agency says applications are now open for:
Chief Vibes Officer — Responsible for conducting very serious field research across live music, nightlife, entertainment and wherever else the vibes lead.Chief Flavor Explorer — Who will eat and drink their way through the destination’s culinary scene and call it research.Chief Sunset Curator — Tasked with finding inspiration across world-class museums, hundreds of murals, colorful neighborhoods and plenty of Gulf sunsets.
“Our new executives have the tough job of eating, drinking, exploring and soaking up St. Pete-Clearwater… and getting paid for it,” Brian Lowack, president and CEO of Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, said in a news release. “It may sound like a vacation, but there’s real work to do. Getting to know our destination means experiencing it day in and day out, following what interests and surprises you and sharing those discoveries with others.”
The three lucky new hires won’t be camped out on the sand 24/7. They’ll have opportunities to mix it up by exploring art, food, music, and sports on top of Pinellas County’s award-winning beaches.
“That can mean discovering Greek culture along the historic sponge docks in Tarpon Springs, biking to a craft brewery in Dunedin, exploring St. Pete’s 13 walkable museums and more art per square mile than you’ll believe, dining at locals-only docks and MICHELIN-recommended restaurants or catching air while kiteboarding beneath the iconic Sunshine Skyway Bridge,” Visit St. Pete-Clearwater says.
It’s a full itinerary, so you may be asking: How much does it pay?
According to Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, the SPC-Suite positions offer a $10,000 contract fee, airfare, and accommodations, along with “VIP experiences.”
The agency says you don’t have to live in the Tampa Bay area to earn one of these three roles. The search will extend nationwide, including billboards in Times Square and collaborations with Corporate Sween, a workplace content creator with more than 400,000 followers on Instagram.
