TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – There are dozens of dogs available for adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center right now who would love to go from stray on the street to comfy on the couch!
WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center team up each week to spotlight four adoptable dogs to help them find their fur-ever homes faster!
Here are the dogs we are featuring on Furry Friday this week:

Meet Alana!
This girl has bursts of energy punctuated by bursts of cute-ness!
Alana excels at making friends, both the dog and the human kind.
She is a Cathoula Leopard mix with the faintest of spots and the most exquisite of ears. Alana is a good listener – patient and kind.
She straight out loved stretching out in the shade, rolling in the dirt and turning her belly to the sky for an extended belly rub.
Please visit Alana at the shelter this weekend!
MEET FRAN
Fran’s personality far exceeds her size!(WCTV)
Meet Fran!
This little chocolatey morsel is sweet indeed!
She is fun, friendly and curious, but then polite and patient with treats on the line!
Fran’s personality far exceeds her size!
She is spunky and silly – wrapping up this volunteer like a pretzel!
Fran perfecting the “pittie sploot” – or a move some call “frog dog” – wagging her tail and stretching out in the cool green grass.
This little lady can’t wait to be your personality-plus, plus one!
Please visit Fran at the shelter this weekend!
MEET ARIES
Aries has big sloppy kisses for the camera and a genuine joie de vivre!(WCTV)
Meet Aries!
He lived up to every bit of his name – energetic, confident, and passionate – about life!
Aries seemed to be walking on air as he romped in the meadow and then nestled into the tall grass.
Aries has big sloppy kisses for the camera and a genuine joie de vivre!
Aries will make you pick up the pace and smile non-stop.
Please visit Aries at the shelter this weekend and meet your new best bud!
MEET BLEU
Bleu can’t wait to hear you say, “Welcome home Bleu! Our family wouldn’t be complete without you!”(WCTV)
Meet Bleu!
Bleu is enthusiastic about everything!
This boy has a soft velvety blue gray coat – beautiful eyes to match – and a pink splotch on his nose that makes him simply irresistible!
Bleu enjoys long walks with his favorite people! He’s ready for just about any adventure and is eager to learn!
Bleu is house trained and crate trained and is looking for an active, affectionate family who will say “Welcome home Bleu! Our family wouldn’t be complete without you!”
Please visit Bleu this weekend at the shelter!
