Four-car crash near SE Federal Highway on US-1 prompts lane closures in Hobe Sound

HOBE SOUND, Fla. (CBS12) — A four-car crash in Hobe Sound is causing extensive lane closures on Friday, according to Martin County Fire Rescue.

MCFR says that it’s paramedics treated and transported four patients with minor injuries following a four-car pile-up, which happened just before 2 p.m. on Friday near SE Federal Highway on US-1 in Hobe Sound.

As a result, all northbound lanes of US-1 are closed as MCFR firefighters and Martin County Sheriff’s Office deputies are working to clear the area. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
