The 14th annual Golisano Children’s Hospital fashion show is rapidly approaching.

The event supports Southwest Florida families facing cancer and blood disorders at Lee Health Golisano Children’s Hospital

The fashion show will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs

It brings together fashion, philanthropy and community with proceeds benefitting Barbara’s Friends – Golisano Children’s Cancer Fund.

The fund has helped more than 12,000 children and families facing cancer and blood disorders since 1995.

Barbara’s Friends supports specialized pediatric care, advanced treatments, family support and counseling, equipment, staffing and training that help children receive lifesaving treatment close to home.

“When a child is diagnosed with cancer, their entire family begins a journey they never expected,” Amy Helgeson, senior director of development for Lee Health Foundation, said.

“This year’s support of Barbara’s Friends is an opportunity for our community to rally around local children and families, celebrate their resilience and help ensure they have access to exceptional care and support every step of the way.”

Barbara’s Friends supports Golisano Children’s Pediatric hematology and oncology program that is the only one of its kind in Southwest Florida.

Barbara's Friends is a charity that raises money to support children facing cancer at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.

The fund helps provide critical resources that improve patient experience and outcomes. No child is denied treatment because of a family’s inability to pay.

Sponsorship opportunities for the fashion show are available for businesses and community partners looking to make a meaningful impact while gaining visibility among an engaged audience of supporters.
