Cam TranORLANDO, Fla. —

Central Florida is seeing a wet start to the morning as showers move from west to east across the region.

Light rain will continue through the morning, with the highest coverage expected north of Orlando. Rain chances will increase again this afternoon as additional showers move through.

Multiple rounds of rain are expected across Central Florida from Tuesday through the end of the week.

The wet pattern is being driven by a stalled frontal boundary over Central Florida. The front will keep moisture levels high across the region through the weekend, allowing for continued rain chances.

A low-pressure system developing off the coast Wednesday is also expected to bring rough marine conditions along the Atlantic coast.

A flood watch is in effect for Flagler County beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday. It is currently the only Central Florida county under a flood watch.
