ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – St. Johns County Parks and Recreation has opened registration for its 2026 Family Color Run 5K, set for Nov. 14 at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds.
The event begins at 9 a.m. at the fairgrounds, 5840 State Road 207 E. On-site check-in and registration open at 8 a.m.
Registration costs $25 per participant, while children 2 and younger may participate for free. Registration closes at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 14.
Participants can run, walk, skip or dance through a mostly off-road, grassy course around the fairgrounds. The registration fee includes an event T-shirt, commemorative medal, professional race timing and color splash stations along the route. Organizers said T-shirts are not guaranteed for participants who register after Nov. 1.
Runners are encouraged to wear comfortable athletic clothing and running shoes. Organizers recommend white shirts for the full color effect and say sunglasses or goggles are optional but encouraged for younger participants.
The event is being promoted as a family-friendly activity for people of all ages and fitness levels. Volunteers and sponsors also are being sought.
