• I am ticked off that whoever is responsible for the exit ramps at Lee Vista and State Road 417, the city of Orlando or Orange County, has not put stoplights on those ramps. I use these regularly. It seems like weekly I see a crash there and these are never mere fender benders.
• I am ticked off not that gasoline prices have dropped just before the midterms, but rather the cost per gallon that we’re spending militarily to keep oil flowing through the Strait of Hormuz. Which, of course, is being underwritten through our taxes, so really we’re paying one way or the other.
• Sports have taken over all local stations on TV at 10 p.m. on weekends. Since when has my TV turned into an all-sports channel?
The flip side
• I would like to thank the entire team of Dr. Vishal Dahya at AdventHealth Apopka. I had a heart catheterization and Dr. Dahya’s team was over-the-top amazing. The whole procedure was painless and everyone was so professional and kind. Each member took the time to explain exactly what the procedure would be and took away all my anxiety. Thank you again for being the best of the best.
