If chicken wings were gold, Hattricks would be the Federal Reserve of Tampa. And Hattricks in South Tampa, just opened today, would be its smaller branch.
The much-anticipated Culbreath Heights spot is a quick-service restaurant with a handful of tables on a covered patio, a few barstool-style seats inside facing the windows, packaged beer and wine, ice cream and a dedicated parking lot.
The South Tampa sports bar rolled out two menu items with the debut: 813 Legends Steak Sandwich ($18.50) with shaved ribeye, chive aioli, Coopers Sharp American and provolone cheeses on a warm seeded hoagie roll; and a smash burger ($15.50) with two four-ounce Niman Ranch beef patties, Cooper Sharp American cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion.

Hattricks South Tampa opened Wednesday, October 7. The original downtown Tampa location, pictured, has been a Tampa Bay sports-hub for almost 30 years.
The original Hattricks location at 107 S. Franklin St. opened in 1997 and has been a Tampa Bay sports hub ever since.
General manager and co-owner Dave Mangione has a “Dave’s Way” wing order on both menus.
“We’re excited to be open in South Tampa,” Mangione said by phone Wednesday, and to bring the same energy and service as the downtown location.
Hattricks South Tampa is open 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-12 a.m. Friday-Saturday.
