JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County — Jacksonville utility crews will begin service-line work near North Shore Drive and Dewitt Street early Thursday morning.

According to the city, crews will be on site beginning at 3 a.m. October 8.

The work requires low-flow conditions, so it is scheduled during early-morning hours when utility demand is lower.

City officials say utilities will remain safe to use and no service interruptions or customer impacts are expected.

The work is expected to be finished by 5 p.m. Thursday.
