• It really ticks me off that I can’t get to watch the Miami Dolphins play football. We are in the fourth week of the NFL season and the Dolphins game has not been televised. They always show the Jaguars and Buccaneers but not the Dolphins.
• I’m ticked off at neighbors who put up a “Don’t let your dog pee or poop on my lawn” sign but when they walk their dog, they never carry a poop bag. Please don’t tell me your dog doesn’t pee or poop on the walk. You think it’s all right for you to mess up somebody else’s yard but not for someone to do the same to you.
• Jordan Avenue was closed in May for repair at Winegard Road in Orange County. It’s entering month five and work is still not completed. What the heck is going on?
• I’ve always heard of nightmare HOA boards. Now I’m living it.
• Lately, I see ads for gambling apps on my TV, computer and phone. Plus, they offer your first $10. So adults and kids are seeing these ads. They should be banned!
The flip side
• Thank you, thank you, thank you to the City of Orlando for an outstanding event on Oct. 3. Another excellent electronic waste and textile recycling event at Festival Park. This is my third time and each has been a wonderful experience. So well-run and organized. So easy. I was in and out in less than two minutes. Thank you to the staff and volunteers!
