October 8, 2026 – Tampa Bay Ventures has invested in Kortek Solutions, the St. Petersburg-based holding company behind EaseAlert. According to a prepared statement, the platform is “a fire station alerting system that wakes the firefighter assigned to the call with a vibration instead of sounding the whole building.” This investment “falls under Tampa Bay Ventures’ defense of infrastructure thesis,” which focuses on early-stage companies that create products or services relating to cybersecurity, national security technology, industrial and operational control systems and public-safety networks.
