An “unexpected K-9 applicant” was reunited with its owner after the furry friend was caught on camera making a stop at a police station in Tampa, Florida.
The Tampa Police Department shared a video on Facebook, capturing the moment the four-legged friend wandered up to the station’s District 2 office last month.
“This four-legged visitor was ready to join the team, but unfortunately, our K-9 roster is currently full,” the post said, with a video showing the dogs meeting with officials. “We made sure our hopeful recruit was safely reunited with his owner instead. He may not have gotten the job, but he definitely stole our hearts.”
