Court records show the case was reopened Sept. 24 after earlier charges, including stalking, were dropped in May. Prosecutors have now charged Asea with one count of offense against computer users, a third-degree felony.
The new filing alleges Asea knowingly accessed, or caused access to, a computer or electronic device without authorization sometime between Oct. 1, 2025, and April 14, 2026.
The investigation dates back to April, when police seized numerous electronic devices from Asea’s home. A May search warrant authorized forensic examination of devices including computers, phones, a USB drive, a PlayStation 5, and networking equipment for evidence of unauthorized computer access.
CBS affiliate WPEC in West Palm Beach previously reported that investigators accused Asea of accessing women’s devices and discussing private information in TikTok videos.
According to the station, police alleged one video referenced a woman’s password, banking activity, device information and possible location tracking. Another woman told investigators Asea previously had remote access to her computer.
Asea’s bio on his TikTok account, which had more than 2,600 followers, described him as a: “Demonologist. Clairsentient. Empath. PTSD. Grey Hat Hacker.” The account appears to have been deleted as of Oct. 6.
