Vibrant fashions and creative designs are set to take the runway next weekend as FTM Fashion Week returns to Jacksonville.
The annual fashion show is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. at the Jacksonville Country Club. This year’s theme is “Fashion Around the World.”
“For this year, our theme is Fashion Around the World, and what you can expect this year is culture going down the runway. We have local culture groups that will be showcasing and telling us about their culture through fashion,” said Latoya Scott, CEO and founder of FTM Fashion Week and a military spouse.
Celebrity stylist and designer Michelle Collins-Windle said attendees can also expect bold looks. “Of course, me – color, texture, hats. You’re gonna see that as well. Maybe a little surprise here and there,” Collins-Windle said.
FTM Fashion Week is produced by a group of military spouses, veterans, and active-duty service members. Scott’s husband is a Marine, and their family is stationed in Okinawa.
