One person was hurt in a shooting in a Pompano Beach neighborhood, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
It happened Thursday after 8 p.m. near the 200 block of Northwest 31st Avenue, authorities said.
At the scene, deputies found one person with “a superficial wound.” They were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
NBC6 cameras captured bullet holes in windows and buildings.
A man said he was home with his wife when he heard gunshots and saw people running.
“Our neighbor right here, they got shot in the window. They got two little girls. I mean, they normally play in that specific window,” he said. “I mean, can you imagine… a bullet going through your glass? I mean, it’s kind of like, ridiculous right now.”
The investigation is ongoing.
