A spokesperson in Escambia County confirmed one person was killed by a “downed tree.”
Officials have not released details about the victim’s identity.
Where is Isaias headed?
The remnants of Isaias are expected to continue moving north across Alabama and into the Tennessee Valley later Saturday and Sunday, according to the NHC.
The system is forecast to turn north-northeast or northeast on Sunday. Slow weakening is expected Saturday, and Isaias is forecast to dissipate Sunday.
