An employee was arrested at the new Universal theme park in Orlando.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 30-year-old Tyler Exline at the new Universal Epic Universe theme park in Orlando.
According to local law enforcement, he tried to meet a 14-year-old for sex but the child was an undercover deputy.
The Universal employee, who was reportedly a team leader, faced two counts of solicitation of a minor and a count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
According to reports, the Palm Bay man used an online hookup site and Snapchat to communicate with the undercover deputy who was acting as a teen. Reportedly, local law enforcement used facial recognition and photos that included a name badge from Universal, but the Orange County Sheriff’s Office did not provide full investigative details.
Universal Orlando Resort has stated that the employee who was arrested is no longer with the company, according to reports.
