ORLANDO, Fla. – With Veterans Day week in full swing, our stream continues to spotlight the men and women who have proudly served our nation. Today, I’m honored to be joined by Vietnam War veteran Vincent “Vinnie” Monitto, a man whose passion for service and storytelling runs deep.
Vinnie’s commitment to uplifting fellow veterans is something you don’t come across very often. Whether it’s helping connect veterans to local resources, preserving their personal histories, or advocating for their continued recognition, his dedication shines through in everything he does.
Currently serving on the board of the Orlando Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council, Vinnie plays a key role in bridging the gap between city leadership and the veteran community. His insight and advocacy have helped countless veterans navigate the transition from military life to civilian success.
In today’s stream, Vinnie shares his story, from his experiences in Vietnam to what being a veteran truly means to him. His words remind us that service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off. It continues through mentorship, storytelling, and the determination to ensure no veteran’s journey is forgotten.
