The National Coffee Association of the United States (NCA) opened early-bird registration for its 2026 annual convention, taking place March 12-14 in Tampa, Florida.
The NCA expects to host more than 700 coffee professionals from across the coffee value chain, including roasters, traders, manufacturers, retailers, producers and allied suppliers. Early-bird registration for NCA members and nonmembers runs through Dec. 11 (see the table at the bottom of this story for rates and dates).
In addition to networking opportunities among leading decision-makers in the U.S. coffee industry, the event is expected to continue the group’s focus on market data and policy issues affecting U.S. trade and consumer markets.
Headlining speakers include Cheryl Hung of market research firm Dig Insights, who is expected to provide an early look at findings from the 2026 National Coffee Data Trends (NCDT) report, and Scott Clemons of financial firm Brown Brothers Harriman, who is expected to deliver a forecast on the U.S. economy. NCA President William “Bill” Murray will deliver a “state of the association” address.
The NCA’s Coffee Gives Back events will benefit the Tampa community. New this year, the NCA will host a 5K walk/run on Saturday, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the 2026 NCA “Origin Charity of the Year Award” winner. An awards luncheon will cover the NCA Distinguished Leadership Award, NCA Volunteer of the Year Award, the new NCA Rising Star Award and the “origin charity” award.
The trade group, founded in 1911, represents companies responsible for roughly 90% of U.S. coffee commerce. The group’s economic impact research estimates that coffee supports about 2.2 million U.S. jobs and contributes nearly $350 billion annually to the national economy.
The 2026 event will follow a 2025 characterized by historically high green coffee prices, new U.S. tariffs on goods from nearly all of the world’s coffee-producing countries and higher prices facing consumers.
