HCA Florida is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday to celebrate the opening of its new stand-alone emergency room in Lee County.
The facility is located at the corner of Alico Road and Three Oaks Parkway, just off I-75. Crews broke ground on the new facility in January of this year.
The HCA Florida ER-Alico will provide 24/7 care, including services such as lab testing, X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds. It will feature 11 exam rooms and on-site diagnostic services.
This development is described as a major milestone for Lee County, especially for the area along Alico Road, and is seen as a significant step in providing access to emergency care for one of the Gulf Coast’s fastest-growing regions.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for noon Monday, followed by an exclusive tour of the new emergency room.
