Travelers planning winter holidays in Belize and the Turks and Caicos Islands will have additional flight options from Florida when BermudAir begins operating its new seasonal schedule on October 26, 2026.
The airline’s published timetable includes nonstop services from Fort Lauderdale to Belize City and Providenciales, alongside connecting journeys linking the two destinations through South Florida.
The expanded network creates more options for travelers using Fort Lauderdale as a gateway to the Caribbean and Central America, particularly those arranging multi-destination holidays.
However, there is an important distinction in the schedule: while Fort Lauderdale has nonstop services to both Belize and Providenciales, journeys between Belize and Turks and Caicos include an intermediate stop.
Fort Lauderdale Flights Begin October 26
BermudAir’s winter timetable lists service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport in Belize beginning Monday, October 26.
During the initial week, flights operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The published schedule shows flight 2T425 departing Fort Lauderdale at 11 a.m. and arriving in Belize at 11:30 a.m., with the time difference reflected in the local schedules.
The return service, 2T426, departs Belize at 12:30 p.m. and arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 4:40 p.m.
Services from Fort Lauderdale to Providenciales, home to the main international airport serving Turks and Caicos, are also listed in the airline’s winter timetable.
The Fort Lauderdale–Providenciales service departs at 5:40 p.m. on the initial schedule, with arrival at 7:25 p.m.
These services also allow some passengers to travel between Belize and Providenciales through Fort Lauderdale, although the airline’s schedule identifies the intermediate stop and passengers should check the applicable connection and immigration requirements.
More Connections Planned for the Winter Season
BermudAir’s route map shows further Caribbean and Central American connections becoming available later in the winter.
These include services involving St. Pete–Clearwater in Florida and Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina, providing additional ways to connect Belize with Turks and Caicos.
The airline also lists direct flights linking Belize and Guatemala City during the winter period.
For travelers, the growing schedule could make it easier to combine a Belize holiday centred on diving, reefs and inland adventure with a beach stay in Providenciales.
Nevertheless, itineraries involving a stop should not be confused with nonstop international flights between those destinations.
Seasonal frequencies also change during the winter timetable. Some services operate only on particular days, while others shift departure times or flight patterns around mid-December and March.
Passengers should therefore compare their precise travel dates and confirm whether a journey involves an intermediate airport before booking hotels or onward activities.
The airline’s official timetable provides flight numbers, operating days and local departure and arrival times.
