JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — The Onslow County Fall Carnival is back Tuesday, but it will look a little different this year.
Organizers say the event will operate as a carnival from October 13 through October 17 at the Onslow County Fairgrounds, 146 Broadhurst Road in Jacksonville.
There will be rides, games, food and vendors for families to enjoy.
The fair is being held as a carnival this year because organizers say the loss of the American Legion building means it cannot host the agricultural displays required for a traditional fair.
The carnival opens at 4 p.m. Tuesday
