TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Leon County is partnering with Legal Services of North Florida to help households resolve title issues and protect their homeownership, with a focus on heir property and clear ownership.

County funding through the partnership helped provide title-clearing services to about 30 low-income households last year.

Residents can learn more about heir property, including how to establish clear ownership and protect property for future generations, at upcoming Heir Property Workshops held during neighborhood meetings.

The workshops are scheduled for Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. at the Downtown Main Library and Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. at the Lake Jackson Community Center.

More information and registration are available at LeonCountyFL.gov/HeirProperty.
