CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (CBS12) — A father and daughter involved with a faith-based organization have been identified as the victims of Monday’s plane crash in Coral Springs.
Ignite the Fire, the organization where they were active, confirmed in a Facebook post that 53-year-old Alexander Wurm and his 22-year-old daughter Serena Wurm died when their small plane went down in a residential neighborhood.
“There are not enough words to describe him,” the post read, highlighting Alexander’s character. “He wasn’t just a man of prayer—he lived it, fasting and listening for God’s voice as if it were a natural conversation. He gave so freely—not just of his time or money, but of his very self—always ready to lend an ear or a hand.”
The statement also wrote that his daughter was following in his footsteps and was “a beacon of empathy.”
