St. Petersburg may attract snowbirds, but the winter magic is coming next month.
Williams Park will open a six-week holiday experience starting in November.
What can guests expect? An open-air ice skating rink, a holiday market, food and beverage offerings, live entertainment and family activities.
The park’s Winter Wonder is a live experiment shaping the future of the city’s oldest downtown public space, according to Shaun Drinkard, CEO of the St. Petersburg Downtown Improvement District, in a statement.
Williams Park is undergoing major renovations this year, including a new bandshell, lighting and programming.
That renovation is expected to wrap up in early November, just ahead of Winter Wonder’s opening.
