With the 2026 general election a few short weeks away on November 3rd, the City of St. Petersburg reminds Pinellas County residents of important voting details.

How to vote in Pinellas County
Vote by Mail

Visit VotePinellas.gov or call the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections at 727-464-VOTE (8683) to request a vote-by-mail ballot or renew your request.

Deadline to request a ballot is Thursday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m.

Deadline to vote by mail is 7 p.m on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd, election day. This is when ballots must be physically received by the Supervisor of Elections office. Mail your ballot early or call the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections office for available secure drop-off locations and times.

It’s possible your polling place moved to a new location since you last voted, so check!

Bring identification, with a valid valid picture and signature.
Voter must present photo and signature ID at the polling place, according to state law.

Florida accepts several forms of photo and signature ID, including:

a driver’s license
state ID card
U.S. passport
student ID

Voters who fail to provide acceptable identification on election day may vote using a provisional ballot, which will be evaluated later for eligibility by avcanvassing board.
