October 17, 2026 – Community Foundation Tampa Bay has awarded a $50,000 grant to Largo-based nonprofit Ready for Life. According to a prepared statement, the organization helps “young people transitioning out of foster care gain the education, career skills and resources they need to build financially independent futures.” The funding will “support 100 foster youth and young adults through GED instruction, vocational certifications, career exploration, entrepreneurship training and life-skills coaching.”
