A last-minute concert cancellation left fans unable to see Argentinian artist TINI perform at the Kaseya Center on Sunday.

The 29-year-old singer, whose real name is Martina Stoessel, is on her FUTTTURA World Tour and was supposed to go on at 8 p.m.

But instead, ticketholders who lined up to get inside the Kaseya Center instead saw an announcement on an outdoor screen that read: “Due to circumstances unrelated to the artist and Kaseya Center, TINI’s performance tonight has been canceled. Ticket holders will receive refunds through their original point of purchase.”

Video shared on Only in Dade shows a Miami police car outside the venue, as a voice over a speaker says: “Please head back to your vehicles or choose a different destination. The show has been cancelled.”

The Kaseya Center said in an Instagram story that the performance was “canceled due to unforeseen circumstances,” and reiterated that refunds would be available.

Ake Music Productions, the production company behind the event, said in a statement on Instagram that the show was canceled “due to the failure to meet the essential technical and production requirements previously requested for the show to take place.”

“We wish to expressly clarify that these circumstances are entirely beyond the control and responsibility of TINI, who was fully prepared to take the stage, as well as her production team, none of whom bear any responsibility for the circumstances leading to this cancellation.”

On her Instagram story, the artist herself wrote in Spanish that she was “profoundly sorry” that the show would not go on. She said though her team had done “everything possible to adapt FUTTTURA’s production and carry out the show,” there were serious technical and safety conditions that though guaranteed, had not been met.

“The venue was handed over several hours late. Much of the setup was incomplete, and key sound, lighting, video, and communication systems were not operational. Essential safety tests also could not be carried out, including those required for the aerial acts,” she wrote in part.

The singer said she would provide an official news release detailing the specific failures she was referring to at a later time.
