Set for next Saturday, Halloween is going to be lit for adults. Kiddos get to warm up this weekend though, with two big family-centric trick-or-treat events happening on each side of the Bay.
Tampa goes first on Saturday when the southern end of the Tampa Riverwalk hosts an afternoon party that starts with 4 p.m. trick or treating and ends with a 7:15 p.m. movie in the park (Cotanchobee Park, 601 Water St.). The event coincides with the tickets 15th annual A Night at the Museum happening inside Tampa Bay History Museum (because we all should reckon with the ghosts of history, regardless of a holiday).
Across the bridges on Sunday, St. Petersburg’s Edge and Grand Central Districts host their annual car-free trick-or-treat and festival, which spans 22 blocks.
More information on both is available via thetampariverwalk.com, grandcentraldistrict.org.
