St. Lucie County firefighters respond to 2 structure fires, rescue cat

It was a busy Monday for the St. Lucie County Fire District, with crews responding to two structure fires — one on 17th Street in Fort Pierce and another on Aragon Lane in Port St. Lucie. The fires were among 215 calls for service the district responded to Monday. Firefighters quickly brought both fires under control, limiting their spread and damage, the district said.
