An Arizona man’s cruise to the Bahamas from Miami abruptly ended before he could even enter the ship Tuesday after police say they discovered a stash of drugs, including pills bearing the Tesla logo, in his luggage.

Jacob Henrichsen, 38, was arrested on drug trafficking charges by U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s seaport team at PortMiami as part of its “Operation Temptation 2026”.

Henrichsen was getting ready to board the Norwegian Jewel when officials found the drugs inside a pelican-style case, according to an arrest affidavit.

Officers said they found several pills that tested positive for MDMA, including Tesla-logo capsules, white and pink pills and gummies. The arrest report also stated that 159 grams of mushroom-branded edibles was discovered in Henrichsen’s luggage.

During a Wednesday bond court hearing, Henrichsen’s attorney told the judge that the weights included in the arrest report are overrepresented.

“This isn’t pure MDMA. These are gummies that are largely sugar and water. There are small quantites of MDMA inside of them. So, it does overrepresent,” the attorney said.

The 38-year-old is listed as an orthopedist in Arizona.

According to court records, he faces one count of MDMA trafficking, along with charges of possession of psilocybin and THC. The court record showed a total bond of $40,000.
