LONGWOOD, Fla. — Wekiva Island is debuting a brand-new pop-up Halloween experience called the “Cypress Cove Coven.”
Whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a large Halloween bash, the Seminole County attraction has transformed its traditional waterfront spaces into a witchy riverfront retreat.
If you are looking to brew up some fun along the river, here are 5 things to know about the Cypress Cove Coven:
Witchy transformation: Wekiva Island has made over its regular Canoe Cabana into an immersive Halloween escape packed with seasonal decor. Guests will step into a space filled with floating candles, cauldrons, spell books, and potion bottles.
Unusual activities after dark: Island officials say the atmosphere completely shifts once the sun goes down. “We always see unusual activities here, especially after dark,” says Wekiva Island Manager Carrie Vanderhoef. “We have every little thing a witch would need hanging out around here. Really cool lighting. It’s just a great space to be.”
Room for the whole coven: The specialized Halloween cabana is built for a party, featuring enough seating and space to accommodate up to 25 guests.
Party amenities included: Like all standard rentals on Wekiva Island, the Cypress Cove Coven comes fully equipped with a private gas grill and dedicated kitchen space so you can prepare your own seasonal treats.
Steps from food and drinks: If you prefer to leave the cooking to the professionals, you won’t have to go far. Extra food, local brews, and custom cocktails are located just steps away at Wekiva Island’s main bar and café.
