CASA’s Fourth Annual Scavenger Hunt returns to Pinellas County and we are ready to take on Central Avenue. The event brings community members together for a fun game that provides vital support to domestic violence survivors across the region.
As the certified domestic violence service provider for Pinellas County and a recognized leader across Florida, CASA Pinellas unites the community every October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Following a month of local partnerships and empowering mirror displays, the festivities come to a close on November 7th with the big Scavenger Hunt throughout Downtown and the EDGE District.
How it works
Teams of 2 to 10 players take to the streets on hunt day. The action kicks off at 12 p.m. at Welcome to the Farm, sending participants across the city to solve clues, complete interactive challenges, and discover local destinations.
At 3 p.m., teams finish at an exclusive private reception at Good Night John Boy, featuring live music and complimentary drinks and lunch provided by Gateway Subs.
Prizes will be awarded to top fundraising teams by top scoring teams and the best-dressed groups in costume. Tickets are $35 per person and available here.
Wearable Art for a Cause
Continuing CASA’s tradition of teaming up with local talent, this year’s official event t-shirt features an exclusive design by artist Angela Stork, whose work has been featured in Mize’s Fun Set show and The St. Pete Shuffle 100 Discs show. Stork joins a distinguished list of past collaborators, including Cristi Lopez and Chad Mize.
The Scavenger Hunt has raised over $500,000 throughout the past for CASA’s vital programs. Last year’s event alone engaged 344 participants and 140 local businesses, generating more than $200,000 to support domestic violence survivors in our community.
