FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A late-night tip sparked a multi-agency investigation that ended with deputies rescuing a 15-year-old girl from a hotel room and arresting a 26-year-old man accused of multiple sex crimes.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) said that on November 10, around 8:15 p.m., deputies responded to the Roadway Inn on 7050 Okeechobee Road after receiving anonymous information that a man was staying there with a 15-year-old girl from Lakeland.
